Help! I am allergic to Jasper's Kisses!

Oh Dear! The other day I think I figured out...that my rosecea is being caused by my sweet Jasper's Kisses! I was avoiding letting him kiss my chin because that is where I have this horrible rash... so I gave him my cheek...and bang! a spot appeared. I got it right away with the medicine she gave it didn't turn into anything big...

But I love Jasper's kisses.

And he looks so hurt if I don't let him kiss me...What do I do?

Awwww, Missy, that is too bad !! It might just be that your face is especially sensitive. That is quite common. When he licks your hands or arms, is it o.k.? Most likely that is o.k. so you'll have to get your kisses there from now on.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence?? One can hope.....

Awww Missy, what a bummer. What about washing your face right after the kisses? Oh I feel your pain, I know how much you love your Jasper kisses.

Oh Missy...that is not good. Maybe wait a week and let him kiss make sure. Strange that it has just started. Hopefully, that's not the reason. Keep us posted and good luck. You might just have to send Jas to me and Cicero.

Wow-----please keep us informed if you decide to kind of " re-test". That would be an interesting thing wouldn't it? I wonder if it is where his tongue licks or if it is where the muzzle hairs would come in contact with your skin?

Oh no, Missy! Lincoln's brother's owner is allergic to dog saliva, so when she comes to my place and gets thoroughly kissed all over by my guys, she will wash with soap and water. It does seem to help.

Doggy kisses

Ah and aren't you glad that these are tiny sweet little kisses instead of huge doggy slobber that you get from bigger dogs!

I do hope you find a solution. I have a friend who cannot have my dogs lick her at all or she breaks out, there is something in their saliva that she is allergic to.

Wonder what it is?

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!
