My advice would be to get involved with your local club and find some good mentors that can give you the straight poop on all that is involved. Secondly, don't even think about the breeding part until you get through conformation & health testing. Too many people think that a championship = breeding quality, but there is so much more to it.
You have a good club down there and there are a lot of good potential mentors. You'll have fun with their activities, meeting new Hav families and if you ever think of getting into obedience & rally, you'll have some good company there.
