i found a new winter coat!

i don't know about your havs but django HATES it when i put his parka on for a walk. the fleece is even worse! anyways, for all of us who live in cold cold weather, i came across this wonderful webiste, and actually ordered a coat but it was too big and i had to send it back.
it is called obtrack. i think the website is OBTRACK.com it's a swiss company and they make dog coats. what i love about their jackets is that they are super super thin, the coat wraps around the belly and neck. it's made out of a poly prop material that cools their muscles down after their walks in cold weather. anyways, i loved it,sad it didn't fit, i've got an order in for a smaller size. take a peak. they were very functional.

I forwarded the site to my DD in Wales. I made Matilda 3 coats before she went over, but she may need a heavier one. Thanks for the info. Our weather has not been cold enouth for Smarty to were her coat and she had rather be cold than to have it on.

I have that for Kubrick and have used it the last two years - it's a great coat! Keeps him warm and dry but is very lightweight. Here's a recent pic of him wearing it:

This one's just for fun... I love his yawn in it!

Does the coat cover the belly? I would love to keep their bellies from getting wet and having those awful knots showing up.

I have this coat too. Lo was nice enough to pass it on to Dugan once Hank grew out of it. It is wonderful. It does cover the entire belly area which is great when you are walking them in the melting yucky snow. Here is Dugan in the coat. He has now grown into it and if fits perfectly!

Okay, where have I been? Love the coat.

Can you share what size works well for your dog? Your Havs weight and the size of your coat would be great!

Cindy,
You may want to check with Linda on what sizes she has for her gang. Dugan is 9 lbs right now and the P3 fits him nicely. He can probably grow a few more pounds and it will still fit. Hank outgrew it which is why Lo passed it on to me. Thanks Lo!!! I think he got the next size up for Hank now. It is a really nice coat, especially for bad weather.

Karen, it looks comfortable and I love that it covers their tummy's. I'll PM Linda. Rudy is 12 lbs, Rocky is 15 lbs.
