Great New Carrier I found!

I have been on the search now, for awhile..(atleast 4 months) for a great carrier if I need to take Gucci with me somewhere and I have FOUND IT.

The company is called EGR Italy, I have had this bag about 3 weeks now and LOVE It, Gucci has gone to Joann's fabrics with me, the grocery store, to pick up my cutting table, lol, and she is as quiet as a church mouse in it, best thing, it is airline approved and it fits her SOOO much better than the Medium Sherpa we use for flying, I think the best part of it, is it has a hole on each side so they can stick their heads out and *see* what is going on (which is also closable), but it is convertable to be carried other ways, too. The next BEST thing is it is VERY LIGHT and comfortable to carry. Anyhoooo...If you are in the market, check it out! luggage.com has free returns and 10% off right now. It comes with adjustable shoulder straps, but its not in the picture I posted, its on the website, though

I think I might buy the snap on pet luggage that goes underneath it, it also has accessories to put it on your bike or a trolley, I have the silver one. I'm amazed I haven't been kicked out of a store yet with her in a tote bag! LOL People just smile.

I need to go give it a great review, because it is a great bag! I'd say the Large would comfortably fit a hav up to 12 lbs. and they can sit in a natural position.

Is it approved to sit under an airline seat?

That looks like it might help with the major juggling I do at the airport and also save my shoulders from wear and tear. I am using the sherpa now.
But, it looks like it could be complicated to disassemble for storing the two attached bags and trolley in the overhead compartment. Did you get all pieces?
And how much does Gucci weigh? Moxie is just under 12, I think.

Actually, it looks very easy to put together and take apart...just stack and snap! Also, it says airline approved and looks flexible enough to fit under a seat.

Unconditional love!

No, I didn't buy the bottom piece yet, but it is MUCH lighter and easier on my shoulder/back than the Sherpa bag and she actually LIKES it, I think the fact she has better vision and can poke her head out is why, the straps are adjustable with a padded snap on thingy.

Not sure if I'll buy the snap on bottom, but I will use this to travel and fly with her, even to run in the store for milk. lol

Ok Kara you are in soo much trouble... I am seriously thinking about getting it. So you take her into stores and no ones notices....that is what I want to do. I hate leaving my dogs....would to have one with me. I like the fact that you said it is light. I am thinking about doing it but I already have a sherpa bag....so not sure what to do but I do I have two havanese so maybe I need a second bag!!!!

Wink

Holly is 12 pounds, but Duffy is 21 pounds! Do they have an extra large, and on wheels?

Kara, how much does Gucci weigh? And will you leave her head out on the plane under the seat?
It looks like it unsnaps easily enough, but schlepping all those pieces overhead in a crowded plane seems tricky. I am almost sold. Moxie likes his sherpa, but it is very uncomfortable for me.
We fly Thursday, wonder if I could get it overnight?

Belle's favorite carriers are the ones where her head pops out. Unfortunately she knows which ones do and which ones dont so I would be scared she would be a brat and chew thru the mesh on the head part. When she is in the square non head carriers she is usually fine but she loves her few carriers that are shaped similar where her head comes out.

Neither of my Neezers like carriers though. I think I was just lazy to get them used to it and there is a big difference on my shoulder of 5 to 10lbs!

Thinking of adding a Neezer, check out this thread!
