A Walk in the Park - Winter version

Today was SUCH a nice day - 43 degrees (seriously, how nice is that for January???) and sunny. So we went to take Kubrick out on a walk. All the ice was melting (don't you worry, it's not gone forever... it's already supposed to snow again on Tuesday) and Kubrick had an awesome time getting dirty and really really WET! These are some pics of him playing in the ice:

Wet Dog

Chompers!

Flying High (big because I love this one - he's completely off the ground here)

One Dirty Dog

And just for fun, here are some of my favorite pictures from our walk:

Lone Rock

Two Figures

Frozen Pond

Red Reflection

These are both called "Sun and Shadows" but I'm not sure which one I like best... anyone have a favorite?

LOL Poor little Kubrick is a mess! But a very happy mess. lol I love the picture of him with all four off the ground. Great shot!

Wow. Such stunning pictures, Lina. You are so very good. I LOVE the 'red' landscape. Gorgeous. My choice for best of the last two would be the first one. The colors and shadows are more intense.

Thanks Sandi and Marj! Marj, I think I like the first one best too, but I like the sun in the second better... maybe I should superimpose them, LOL!

Cordelia, he actually wasn't cold at all! It was 43 degrees... Kubrick only gets cold if it's 30 degrees or so. He dried on the way home. I washed his paws when we got in and the water ran BLACK, LOL. Now he's crashed out at my feet while we're watching the Superbowl!

Lina,

Love the pictures. Bailey managed to get himself as dirty or dirtier than that in our own backyard. We had our own pond and a black legged soggy baby. Of the last two photos I thought I liked the first best, then the second . . . then the first. They're both great in different ways.

Nice pictures; happy, dirty dog!

I liked the second sun and shadow picture the best because of the tree limbs showing so well.

Kubrick looks so happy! He looks a bit like Toto from wizard of oz with his paws all wet like that. Great pictures...it was so nice to have a heat wave. But boy did our boys get dirty today!!! We just finished bathing and blowing and brushing them now.

Nice pictures. Some would make great "before and after" too of course the "after" being once a bath was over! <grin> Looks like fun was had by all! I like the "sun and shadow" that is on the right best.
