Help! Broken tooth!

Before i go to the vet with milo i just wanted to check on here first if this is serious.

I was running and milo got his canine tooth caught in my shoe and it snapped off at the top. he didnt squeal and continued to be his happy self, he isnt in any pain.

But, I can still see a small bit of his tooth in his gum. Its still his baby tooth and he is teething right now, only the canines to go. Will his adult tooth push this little piece of his old tooth out? Or could there be problems?

Are you sure it's a part of the baby tooth and not the new tooth? In any event, it should take care of itself, but if it starts getting red or swollen, take him in.
