Looking for a Specific Dog Toy

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find another dog toy like the one below? It's old, been through two dogs (sheltie and hav). Button (our hav) still loves it, but it's getting old, and starting to fall apart, so we will have to retire it soon. Also, does anyone know what the name of this toy is? Maybe that would help us find another one.

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions you can offer.

As far as I can tell its some sort of soft rubber compound.

Name of it is not as important as finding another, though. and thanks.

Thanks, narci, that looks like it. Don't know what Button would do without one, and hers is about to go bye-bye.

As follow up, this looks similar to the one Button has now; but after doing some research on it: 1) it's made in China, and 2) it's filled with foam. Button's is hollow. Guess we'll keep looking. But I do sincerely appreciate your efforts in finding it. It's the closest we've come so far to finding a replacement.

Thanks again.

I looked at Button's toy closely last night, and to my surprise, its full of foam, so maybe we have a winner. Sure thought hers was hollow.

Glad to help.

It's cheap enough that you an always buy one and try.

It's not like any of us have tonnes of toys lying around the house lol

narci, well, we decided to try one...it's on order and should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to see how Button likes it. Her old one is starting to fall apart, so hope it gonna be a good replacement. Will let you know here how she likes it.

Now that the new toy is here, and we got rid of the old one, here is a pic of the new blue bone, and of dog with the new bone.

At first, Button was scared of it, and would not bite it...or fetch it for us, but she has started to do both, although not with the frequency or enthusiasm of the old one. But that should come in time.

Thanks, again, narci for the tip on where to get this.

I would guess until it smells and tastes more like the old one, there will be some hesitation.

Good News. As of Saturday night, Button has started playing with the new toy, and as of Sunday night she is back to her old self, just like with the old one. Actually, she's even more enthusiastic about the new one. It bounces better and squeaks. The old one, being very old, didn't do that.

Sure thought it would take longer than 3 days for her to acclimate to the new one.
