Red face Getting a Second Puppy??

I think I may have somewhat lost my mind but I really want another Havanese puppy! I have 2 young boys 5 and 2 and our little Cubby is 9 months old.

We are just soo in LOVE with him!! He is so easy to train (he rings his little bell to go outside), he is so gentle and mild, he rarely barks EVER!! He is just the BEST!! I would like another one but I'm afraid adding another one will disrupt his good nature and I'm also afraid that the next one will be a little terror! Lol (kind of like kids no 2 are the same and chances are if you already have a mild tempered baby the next one is sure to give you a run for your money lol)
I'm so torn!! I'm thinking of crazy vet bills, sitters and more poop!! but at the same time I'm thinking a great friend for my little Cubby and my boys. Cubby has fit in so well with our family I don't remember what it was like not to have him (again kind of the same as kids lol) and I'm sure another would be no different, but I'm afraid....advice please!! TIA

Talk to your breeder about the temperament that you want then be willing to wait until there is a puppy that fits the bill.

I guess you could always just keep things the way they are for now and see how you feel in a couple more months.

I had the same feelings, but the difference was that Cass just seemed to need a dog friend. Every time she sees other dogs she wants to meet them and play. She has our cat to play with, but it's not the same. She is great with the new pup, and smiling more! It's great to see Roo follow her around doing what she does, and that helps the potty training a lot! Roo seems to like being petted more, but doesn't sit on my lap as calmly. she likes the side position. Roo seems to like car rides better, but Cass has improved there quite a bit. Roo doesn't mind having her feet combed, Cassie hates it still. Roo I think likes squeaky toys, and Cass doesn't. I'm glad I got Roo even if they wear me out along with themselves!

We really have the itch for 2nd puppy also, but my biggest fear is that our Mossimo wont like him/her and will feel like we ditched him.... such a struggle!...
