Moving from wee wee pads to Outdoors?

Greetings!...

Was wondering if anyone could share a good method on how to move Mossimo from indoor wee wee pads to outdoor potty?
My husband is going to be home for the next few weeks all day and was thinking its a great time to start this journey -

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks

We didn't use the wee pads, so I can't give much advice. Everything I have heard is just to remove the ability to go inside and be diligent about taking him out very often. How old is Mossimo?

I would take him out at the times you know he goes, early AM before he has time to pee on the pad (wake up early and wake him up), after a meal, and several times in between as well as before bed.
Don't give up and bring him inside if he doesn't go, stay outside until he pees/poop and make sure you give him lots of attention after he goes.

I have never trained an adult dog so I am not certain if that will work, hope it does.

Gracie started out on a UGODOG, which will still do use. When she was about 18 months old, we hung some bells on the door and several times a day we would walk her outside, ringing the bells and telling her to "go potty outside". When she would "go potty", we had a big potty party followed by a few treats. Sometimes, she still comes into the house looking for her "potty treats"! We've kept her UGODOG, and she will use it on rainy or cold days, or sometimes late at night. She did regress a bit this winter because of all of the snow and soggy grass, late in the season, but she's doing much better again now that the weather is getting nicer.

Good luck with your outside training!
