I saw these, they are so cute. I gave my two a bath this past week and can totally relate to some of these. They need to add sound to these photos, you should hear Timmy complain during bath time LOL, you would think I'm torturing him. Wait, maybe in his mind I am but sometimes you just have to deal with things right?

Poor, pitiful pups. Those are some great photos, you can really see the dogs' personalities. Now I am just trying to figure out how I can get some photos of my dog at bath time. I will need to enlist an assistant, as my hands are usually quite full just trying to wash him and give him treats to keep him from jumping out of the tub before he is fully rinsed. I will do it, though, it's a worthwhile project!

I'm relieved to hear that most people still require treats and/or assistants with their dogs at bath time! We have been doing Archer once a week since we got him and he is getting better though still whines and complains! Usually not too upset not to anxiously snarf down the treats we are mainlining to him though...

I don't know if most people give treats, but I find that near the end of his bath he often decides he's had enough and wants to jump out. Believe me, it has improved immensely! I bathe him in the regular bathtub, which I have found works best for me. When he was a little puppy it was rather insane trying to wash him! He always acted like he thought I was trying to drown him, and I'd keep the baths short so as not to traumatize him. I tried all different things. For a while I used the method of getting in the tub with him, with long pants and sleeves on so he wouldn't claw me to death trying to get out of the tub. I'm glad no one was recording it and posting the videos on here, as I'm sure I looked ridiculous. Fortunately he finally figured out that not only was I not trying to drown him, but that water can actually feel kind of good. Now he will stand quietly and allow me to wash him and hose him down with the sprayer, but he definitely has a mind of his own. I can tell when he's starting to feel like he's had enough, and then I give him some treats so he stays there until he's rinsed. Then he gets to shake and then run around doing RLH, which I"m sure is his favorite part. The moral of the story is... don't worry, it gets much easier!
