Dusty Made Us Laugh!

So, yesterday morning DH was upstairs in the bedroom and all of the sudden Dusty comes flying into the room, looks around and heads to a corner. This was very odd behavior for her, so DH went to get a closer look at her. She is hunched over in the corner and obviously not too pleased that he has come so close. She even turned to hide from him. He decided she had something in her mouth, as she was clenching it shut! So he did the guy thing and picked her up around the middle and started down the stairs with her, calling for me, saying that Dusty had something in her mouth and he didn't know what it was.
I met him halfway up the stairs and he is holding Dusty out away from him, facing me. She took one look at me (I think I may have said her name), opened her mouth and dropped a fairly large object into my hand. It turned out to be a whole, unmarked but slimy, McDonald's Chicken Nugget! I think she pulled it out of the trash, and it came from my son's meal of the night before. Yuck!
I was most suprised that it hadn't already been swallowed. I think it was too big for her to eat in one bite, and she was afraid one of the other dogs would steal it if she got caught. I was also suprised that she dropped it at all, even for me! I think the funniest part though was the look on her face when she saw me!

Joelle, what a great story! I love the part where she quickly hid in the corner and how guilty she felt, lol.

HaHa...really enjoyed that story!! My DH would have done the same thing......LOL! You can always tell when Doc has something he's not supposed to...he gets in his little bed and hides his "prize" under his paws and head and looks so guilty...

That is the part I found the most funny! That is such a DH thing. Dora has a toy that she is psycho for and my DH always brings Dora to me to have me remove the toy from her too.

And hey, Dusty was just getting a little happiness out of the happy meal too!

You know, I feel kind of bad for taking it away! I should have given her a treat or something as a replacement! Now I have the guilt and she has a clear conscience!

Hee Hee...too funny!
Miley got ahold of my daughter's ham sandwhich she brought home from Arby's on Sunday and acted the same as Dusty!
Now mind you, ham is Miley's MOST FAVORITE food.
I wanted to get the foil/paper wrap off of it before she ate it though. But I could NOT pry her little mouth open. Usually I can. She ate it all, wrapper and all. If she would have just been patient, I would have taken the paper off for her!

Renee, Miley, & Copper too!

Oh how funny, Joelle. I was worried for a minute that the "object" was going to have four legs and a tail! Whew . . .

I caught my SIL's dachshund up on a chair the other night at the kitchen table "woofing" down my niece's club sandwich take-out she had just opened and left for a minute. When I said NO NO loudly and came to nudge Lilly off the chair (Jackson was in my arms), she began chomping even more furiously! It was hilarious . . . my SIL has had to put her on a diet recently because she wants to eat everything in sight.
