The Price Hike of NV Medallions!

Have any of you Nature's Variety feeders noticed the price increase of the medallions? In our neighborhood, the cost of the organic chicken when up from 16.99 a bag to 21.99 a bag. That is a huge increase. The pet store owner says it's because they refuse to compromise on their ingredients. I would guess that it may turn people away. It's a shame.

Hmmmm, I haven't seen an increase yet. Tess isn't going to be happy when she has to start eating just kibble & canned.

Yup! Missy, we just got a huge increase on NV! The organic chicken is $26.99 a bag now.. as is the rabbit and lamb. The beef and the rest are $21.99. They were like $14.99 before... ughhhhh...

I have stopped buying them and now have Beamer on a local company which makes raw. (Healthy Paws) Same exact thing as the NV, just in 4oz patties.

Yikes! It hasn't hit here yet. 11.99-16.99. I just bought Belle a bag of venison too.

Yep...

We tried Stella and Chewies, and get a price break at Centinella Feed when it is buy two get one free. Right now they are on Orijen fish. Gotta cut back somewhere, and they are doing well.

i bought my own meat grinder and broke it on some chicken necks...and tried a few other raw foods but I could never just trust them. I bought some for a while at Whole Foods but I think it was just waste products and not the good stuff.

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!

I wrote them...I have not heard back yet. but I encourage you all to do the same. if enough people leave they may reconsider the hike...$5 a bag is pretty outrageous and seems like it is a lot more than covering costs.

I started feeding Cash exclusively raw (used to cook) to see if he would be less hungry and not go after his poop. But it seems as if he has gotten worse with this nasty habbit on raw... If he's going to do that I might as well feed him Orijen or other kibble. But I am waiting on a nutritional consult for him so right now I am stuck...just not happy.
