Seattle-Area Groomer Recommendations?

Seattle members, do you have a groomer you like and would recommend? I haven't been happy with Hudson's haircut the last few times and would like to try someone new.

I'm on the Eastside, in Newcastle, but am willing to cross the lake if necessary.

Thank you!

I use Julie at Petco in Redmond.
She does a good job.

I've heard really good things from a number of Havanese and Poodle owners about Alisa at Boo Boo Barkery & Boutique in Kirkland. It's where I'm planning to take Rory for her next grooming.

My boys do not enjoy the groomer so I wanted to make it as easy as possible with cage free grooming. The first one I tried was Puppy Bubbles on Mercer Island. They are a doggie daycare and groomer in one so it can be a bit chaotic at times, but from what I observed they keep a close eye on the dogs and are right in the room with them. I moved a bit further east, so now I am going to Le Chic Pet. It used to be a storefront, but have since gone to a mobile grooming set up with a permanent parking spot in downtown Issaquah. Kandis only takes one dog at a time, unless from the same family. She has been great with my requests of a little more off the ears, etc.

Emmie hasn't had a haircut since she was shaved down 15 months ago; however, I take her to the groomer for baths, nail trims, and an occasional sanitary or belly trim. These are the 3 places I like:

Fetch in Seattle (Madrona neighborhood)
Just Around The Corner in Seattle (Lower Queen Anne neighborhood)
The Pet Stops Here in downtown Bellevue

If you are keeping him in a puppy cut and need someone who knows how to trim a Havanese so that he looks like a Havanese, I can recommend Liliana at Dog Mania. I also like that the dogs are not caged but are in a little play area while waiting, which makes my dog very happy. I feel comfortable dropping Benjamin off there for a couple of hours, knowing that he is in good hands. She's located in the Mt. Baker area, so is convenient to the I-90 exit. She is not cheap, but I guess none of them are, really, and I think she's worth it. Looks like there are a lot of good choices.

I live in the seattle area and am also unhappy with my options. I've tried only a couple listed here and was disappointed with the inability to maintain the standard. I am thinking about learning to do it myself... but will try again because I'd love a long term relationship with my groomer!

Liliana is no longer at Dog Mania. She is now the Dog Maniac on Wheels, and will come to your home or place of work. That might work really well for a dog that does not like socializing with other dogs, and she still does a great job, IMO.
