asking for your prayers please

Our 12 year old Aussie girl "Breezy" went down today. We had the dogs out in the yard and when we brought them in Breezy was not with them. When we went out to look for her we found her laying on her side not able to get up. Of course this had to happen on a weekend when there are no vets available to tend to her. We brought her into the house and she is now resting on her bed, but still cannot get up, I am not sure, but I think it may have been a stroke, and I am not ready to loose her.

Please keep her in your prayers that either things will start looking up for her or that she will go peacefully with no pain. She does not appear to be in any pain, and I pray that there is no pain.

Here is a photo that I took of her this January.

Oh poor Breezy and poor you, she's beautiful. Isn't there an emergency vet near you?

Maryam,
Unfortunately no. I put a call into my vets (we only have two here) and one is at a seminar somewhere out of town and the other one is out right now tending to some ranchers cattle in the middle of nowhere, I talked with his wife and she said to continue doing what I am doing and that when he gets in she will have him call me.

Oh Heather, I hope Breezy recovers and that the vet can come attend to her soon.

Kimberly, I do too. This is the one thing that I really hate about living where I do. To get any quality vet care on weekends is pretty much next to impossible.
