That's a new one for me! I try to wait until my puppies are closer to 6 months before I give them the Rabies vaccine, which just happens to be when their adult teeth should be in, but I never associated the two for timing.
The things that are most critical is that the Rabies vaccine is given 3 weeks after the last vaccines, and only when the dog is healthy. Rabies vaccines should not be given with any other vaccines. This info is per Jean Dodds DVM.
