GPS tracking

Hi guys,
I am typing as I lie down after looking for my dog at the dog park. I was at work when my roommate called me with the most dreaded news: my baby had gone missing in the offleash park. It was 2 hrs of fear and crying and looking. Bless be the Lord that she was found. I am feeling sick after the emotional stress so took the rest of the day off
Soooo that brings me, do you guys recommend any good gps tracking system to attach to her?

sorry for your scare. That can be terrible for sure. There are some good methods and im sure a google will give you some ideas. What caused her to be lost. That's the first question. Dogs must be watched closely at dog parks , never out of sight.

Hello,
What caused her to go missing? my roomates carelessness. She never watches where the dogs are, she just keeps walking and is very "meh they will show up" but one thing is her dog another is mine. I was so pissed off and hurt that she would not consider my feelings and my baby's safety.
I saw the tagg pet tracker but it seems it is not yet available in canada

get a new dog walker. This is very dangerous not to supervise. I used to know of the good ones but have lost touch with the technology.

This is the one people I know use on their working hunting dogs:

Sorry, didn't know TAGG wasn't available in Canada. I don't think I'd rely on a GPS tracker on a small dog anyway. There are WAY too many dangers for a little dog. The people I know who use them, HAVE to let their dogs go out of sight, because they are hunting dogs. They are also big enough to defend themselves against a coyote or other dogs.

Kodi has an excellent recall. But I never, EVER allow other people, even family members to have him off leash except in our yard. I don't trust them to be as careful as I am, and I don't trust HIM to respond to them as reliably as he responds to me, the person who trained him. I walk him off leash frequently, but he is never out of my sight.

the answer is right there, i am gonna say to her not to take her for walks at all. I only trust myself with her and offleash.

how awful for you!!! I don't blame you for feeling sick over it..I would be a total basket case if Whimsy went missing. Go take a hot bath and relax and have a good snuggle with your baby

i want to snuggle with my baby but seems that under the bed is cozier than my arms
Still i am so glad to hear her move and bark at the sounds outside.
I will have to be straight forward with roommate, i just am as cautious as i would be with a child. The poochies are our babies.
I still will look around at gps options just in case. Thank you guys
