The water fountain is cute. My lab is too old to do a Hav water bottle, and he could drink out of the bottom, and Jackson could (hopefully) drink out of the fountains.

I am scared of that exercise wheel. What if they got their leg caught it in and it started going around? Yikes!

I had a fountain made from the same company for Kubrick and it just didn't work for us... I gave it to my mom (she has two cats) because with a dog it just got too dirty too often. I had to clean it out every 5 days and it was filthy - gunk would build up - after those 5 days. I'd say every 3 days would be better with dogs and it really sucked to clean it - lots of parts, hard to get to some parts, etc. With the cats, my stepdad only cleans it about once every 6 weeks or so, and they do love it!

I'm not sure about that wheel, though... that dog didn't look like he knew what to do with it, LOL!

I like the bird stuff. My guys would love those.
Our garden fountain has similar falling water as the doggy water fountain and our girls do like to drink out of it which is why we pour in bottled water before an outdoor party. The only problem with an indoor doggy version would be thoroughly wet faces and dirty water. My girls get into everything outside and if they drink out of a water bowl inside (as Sedona does) the water gets filthy.
I'm also afraid that listening to all that tinkling water while I'm watching TV would make for far too many trips to the bathroom for me!

I do not think the intention is to leave the ddog on the wheel unsupervised .. Perhaps that is why Robin went to get the little guy out .. Duh !! You think the vet would have thought about it .. I guess he was too into his T/V moment .
I think it is a great idea - you can watch the news and the doggie can get his walking in .. I think there is nothing like a walk for a dog but sometimes the elemnts make it impossible .
Besides it is much safer than dragging them beside a golf cart which is what I have seen here in the desert ..
