Smile A frozen dog treat

I got this from a breeder friend of mine and I haven't tried it yet but is looks like a good treat to try as the weather warms up. Just thought I'd pass it on.
Carole

INGREDIENTS:
32 oz Yogurt (she used vanilla lowfat)
20 oz can of pumpkin-no fat; low calories

THIS IS THE HARD PART...

combine ingredients
scoop into ice cube trays (remember those?)
freeze
feed to dogs as treats

good for them; lowfat; not even messy

ta da

Carole
Vinny, Lulu, Gabby and Richie too!

Carole- thanks for sharing. That would be really fun for a doggy playdate too in the summer. Mine arent that big of fans of frosty paws but I thought we spoiled them with jello pops

Mine do not like frosty paws. Maybe I will try this for Roxie's birthday and let you know if my 2 liked them.

Carole, what a great recipe idea, and I love how the portions are small.

Carole, my pet sitter makes these for the dogs when she's over. They LOVE them! She substitutes banana for the pumpkin sometimes.

I think I'll make them for our playdate too! I was worried about what sort of treats I could offer for the doggies. Wait until DH catches me making these, he already thinks I'm a crazy dog lady!
