Tucker

The day was so pretty here that Tucker and I went for a walk on the beach. This was the first time I have let him off leash, because there were no other people (or dogs,) around. He had so much fun!

I can't figure out how to write by each photo, and don't know how to get them to show up down the page in a row, so hope you can still enjoy them however they show up.

The photo of Tucker just standing among the rocks and on the sand I liked because of all the shades of gray.

And, I swear, he must have some bloodhound in his genes somewhere, because he rarely lifts his nose off the ground! (He'd be great in tracking!)

Tucker's gorgeous He reminds me of the masculine version of my Sophie. Was he black & white as a pup then silvered out?

Yes, he was black and white. Some days he seems charcoal gray, some days he's a softer gray. It also depends on how the light hits him, as you can tell from the difference between my avitar and the signature photo.

Oh he's just beautiful! I don't know if my puppy will stay black and white or not, I think I would love her even if she turned orange, but I think the silvering that some of them do is beautiful. Tucker is gorgeous! Is that coat a lot of work? I'm sure I will try a longer coat to start, but we'll see if I cave and do a puppy cut at some point. Does his poop get stuck in his hair? My yorkie was kept in a fairly short cut, and yet she'd still get hangers-on back there sometimes. The long cuts are so cute from the rear, but it looks harder to maintain from a hygiene perspective.

Diane, yes the...dingleberries (someone on here called them) are a challenge for me, because I have trouble with him having loose stools. Sometimes we can go for weeks without back-baths, but for the past 3 months it has been more like twice a week. (I think it is food/digestive system related, and am trying to get it figured out.) But, I simply love full coats, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. I've gotten pretty good at 5 minute backside-baths!
