Couplers

I want to get a coupler to walk my two guys together occasionally. I don't know what size is best, I can custom order one and choose the length and width. Does anyone use them and can give me recommendations? My 2 are both about 12 lbs.

Not sure of the size, but if you have never tried one, it's a lot harder than you think.I got one when I kept my daughter's puggle and couldn't believe how little control you have. I guess if your dogs walk perfectly and stop at the same time it could work, but it did not work for me.

I have one and do use it occasionally. I didn't think it was too hard to get them used to it, but if they have different agendas it is kind of a pain. I think I might have posted a video of them walking with it but now I can't find it. I have one that's on the shorter side, one thing to remember though that if you get a longer one it extends the length of your leash which could be a good thing or not. I typically use one on one of our non pottying walks since Timmy likes his space when he does his business and if they are on the coupler Mae would be right there, probably looking for a treat.

I have a leash that has two ropes with one handle. You can adjust it any way you want. It has a nice handle. Its a timber wolf
http://www.timberwolfpetproducts.com/leashes.htm#. Maddie is 9 lbs and zoey needs to go on a diet and now weighs 13 lbs but she has used the leash at 11 lbs. Its 2 years old and still in good shape.
