Fireworks or cucumber ?

Prince started to whine on July 5th at 0430, very unusual and I took him out, he went straight to his favorite spot and pooped. He started to whine again at 0445 and I found out his pooped in his crate, very soft stools, I took him out again and this time was horribly stink and watery.

I kept him in the couch with me till morning and he went again at about 9, very soft...
I went to the whole pet store and trying to get him some pumpkin and the staff recommended the can Fruitables Pumpkin SuperBlend Digestive Supplement.

His stool looks better after eating the can pumpkin supplement twice, no more watery but still kind of soft.

I did introduced him 2 slices of cucumber at noon, July 4th, or maybe got scared by the fireworks? ( I kept him inside the whole night, expect potty time). I have no clue whats happening...

His potty schedule got mess up because of that, he was whining at 0155 last night and went out for his #2 business.....

What can I do to make him back to his schedule... there is no fun to take him out at the middle of night.

My guess is that he still has a bit of irritation in his bowels, and that is what kept him off schedule last night. I think when he's really COMPLETELY better, he'll get back to his regular schedule on his own.

I guess cucumber could be irritating to him… but he could have also picked up a little stomach bug or he could have been nervous about the fire works. As long as he's steadily improving, it probably doesn't matter!

For future reference, you don't have to buy some special dog product for the pumpkin. Canned pumpkin (or squash if you can't find pumpkin) from the grocery store works great, and I'm sure is less expensive!

Thank you Karen,
I'm such a bad mom.... I gave him kibble this morning and he runs again........ very watery.
I felt so bad and just stay with him for the next couple of hours.... no more poop poop.
I fed him the canned pumpkin supplement , and mixed 1/8 cup of kibble with the canned pumpkin at 6pm. Finally he did it at 8pm, soft and not stinky like the morning one.

I went to the local grocery store yesterday, but couldn't find any canned pumpkin , except the pumpkin pie filling, and thanks God , the whole pet is just next door.

I'll keep an eyes on him and will go to the vet if he's still not doing well...

I would take him off kibble for a few days and feed him plain boiled rice and either boiled chicken or very lean ground beef (whichever is closer to his regular protein) and mix the pumpkin into that.
