Crochet Pattern

Ok, I have to admit, I am not just addicted to my new puppy, but I have a pre-existing addiction to Amigurumi. This is the japanese art of crocheting or knitting small stuffed animals. I am not good enough to make my own patterns, although I have done a couple easy ones.

I am looking for a dog pattern for a Havanese and have just not been able to find one. Does anyone have any ideas? I would be willing to purchase it.

Here is a link to a site that has dog patterns. I was thinking about using the Sheepdog.

What do you think?

By the way, this is a good hobby while your puppy is sitting with you on the couch watching TV.

The Sheepdog pattern would definately work. We would love to see the finished work, (at least I would).

How cute and clever! I think the sheepdog pattern would be perfect!

I'd like to see how it turns out, too. If it's not too difficult, I'd like to try one, too.

Looks difficult but they sure are cute! The sheepdog's face could resemble a Hav.

Thanks for the input. I purchased the pattern and should receive the pdf in the next couple of days. Since Shiloh is sable colored with his black tips still in tack I will have to find just the right yarn to do him justice.

I will post pics when I am done.

Thanks!!

My mom made several amigurumi's for my daughter's b-day. I'm trying to learn how to make them. There are several books on Amazon that are good, some better than others. The one by Ana Paula Rimoli is my favorite. She has another coming out in June.

My SIL has a whippet one that looks just like her dog. It was made by one of the rescue groups but it looks just like her dog
