Dental visit, Ugh!

Django had his teeth cleaned today and unfortunately he had a tooth extracted. The good news is that it was a tooth that according to the vet isn't used, somewhere in the back. He's resting comfortably, hasn't eaten or had any water yet but I'm sure as the day progresses he will feel better. Canned food for the next couple of days. I have friends who have dogs years younger than Django who have had up to 10 teeth extracted so I guess we are lucky. One is too many in my book but I'm glad it's nothing more.

Has anyone tried a product that helps keep dogs teeth clean that goes directly in their water? I brush his teeth daily but he's been prone to bad teeth from day one, something he inherited from his mom.

yeah I use this tooth paste and water additive. Brushing is key though . This is the Canadian site for a supplier of Zymox
