The Etsy coverups came today, and I'm very pleased with them! The ripstop ones are quite detailed, with a velcro fastener up the chest, and I think they will do the best for not attracting stickers. The legs are a little too long, but, this was the first pair Jolene had done like this, and I just have to roll up the ribbing at the bottom of the legs and they are fine. They fit real well, and, were fairly easy to put on. Some of his tummy hair does stick out, but I knew that would be the case...they need to be like that for him to go potty while wearing them. (And, he's got a lot of hair!)
The ripstop ones are from Etsy: nomorenekkiddogs.etsy.com and Jolene has kept the information on how she made them on file. I told her there might be other Hav folks that want coverups, too.
The ripstop comes in different colors.
The camo ones are easy to get on, easy to move in for Tucker, and don't have fasteners. I think they might be too easy for stickers to attach to, but hope they work, anyway. The body is a little longer than I'd like, but that will be easy to sew a seam in to take it up a bit if I decide I need to. But, since it is a knit, it seems like it might be okay this way, and it is
easy to get on.
The camo ones are from Etsy, also: paulinesfashions.etsy.com
Didn't Tucker do well posing, since he's never worn "clothes" before? You should have seen his expression, though, as I got him into the coverups!!!
