Coco is growing up. She can sleep from 10 pm to 6 am without making too much of a fuss now. We don't need to wake up at 3 am :-). Her schedule is good now that my wife is home for a period of time and then I am home. I haven't noticed any accidents for a while now. She still goes out to the front yard for washroom. Otherwise she goes when we walk her. She can go up and down the stairs, jump off the couch etc. She hasn't figured how to get on the couch yet.

One other thing we noticed is that she tends to bark at my wife and sometimes nib at her pants and sometimes bites. It's not a vicious bite but still my wife can feel her bite. Coco sometimes act wild with my wife but is more gentle with our roommate (my wife's best friend is living with us). May be it's a hierarchy thing?? I know when I talked to Coco or pet her she mellows out and usually behaves well.

Anyways we thing she is a joy and even though she doesn't love her crate she doesn't scream like she used to. She can go for long walks with us and go 5 km one day and other days we have to carry her after a km.

Sounds like Coco is doing well. For all the craziness of the early puppy days these little dogs tend to mature into lovely companions. I think the key is to remember they are dogs and not babies as I sit here talking baby talk to Leo!

Oh my goodness, she is one of the most adorable puppies I've ever seen! Love the cut too. Sounds like she (and you) have a great life together.

So true, when Zeke is eating mulch I tell him "no" then continue to explain why!

Great to hear from you about Coco. I was wondering how she was doing. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Sounds like she is doing great and has settled in nicely to the family routine. Oliver does exactly the same thing Coco does with the nippy thing. I think it is just puppy excitement that they will eventually outgrow. I ask him for kisses any time he starts nipping and it is starting to work most of the time. Not with my son though, because he likes to roughhouse with Ollie and playfight and that gets him very excited and worked up and then he gets mouthy. Ollie barks too, mostly when he wants something, treats, food or playtime. Usually he barks at me as I am the one who gives him his food and I play with him the most.

She is adorable. She sounds a lot like my Chloe with the pants biting, slipper biting, etc. it's just with me and not my husband. Also she was very quiet to a certain point but now growls and barks from time to time at me when I tell her no - I can't walk without her trying to tear my slippers apart.

She is just precious! Dark-coated pups can be hard to photograph, but you got a couple of great ones.
