Well, taking a picture has not been easy. Lola and Lily are a spinning ball of perpetual motion. Lola is obsessed with playing with Lily. Lily, being a baby is having fun too but Lola is a little bit much for her.
This first picture is Lily and our cat Tash:
This is Lola and Lily (poor Lola, she's a chinese crested now - we came back from our vacation and she was so horribly matted I had to shave her hair off - please NO laughing!) :
If the two of them ever stay still long enough I will try and get more pictures!
Look at how big Lily is in comparason to Lola. Poor Lola is so tiny. Lola is 11 months old now and Lily is only 10 weeks. You can see in this picture Lola's right rear hip is the hip that was fractured and you can see that her leg is shorter than her left rear leg. The wonderful thing is that Lola is playing with Lily so much she is sure to regain some muscle in that leg which may either help prevent her from having the femoral hip ostectomy or if she does have to have it the extra muscle in her leg will really help her recover faster!
Lily is so sweet, she's really got a loving personality - she's fitting in so well to our home. It's funny because the breeder said she would come out of her shell in about 4 days - well, I'd say she's more than out of it with Lola here to welcome her - she is playful and happy!
So cute. Did you leave Lola at a kennel? That is always my worst fear with vacations. I almost feel like I have to do a puppy cut if I want to leave for more than 3 days. It will grow back quickly. Very cute pics, and your cat is beautiful!
Hi Gina, no, I had a babysitter come and live at our place for the 3 weeks. I suspect Lola may have blown her coat and the babysitter didn't know what to do so she bathed her, that was probably what turned her coat into one huge matt. I will definitely keep her hair in a puppy cut when I am going away for more than 2 weeks from now on. A puppy cut is better than a "chinese crested cut".
