Ginger to get Spayed

Feel bad for her, as she has never experienced any pain whatsoever in these 13 months of life. Hope it's not too traumatic.

Maggie sends healing thoughts to Ginger. Be sure to buy a onesie. It helped keep Maggie from licking her incision area. Also, toward the end of week, I applied hydrocortisone to help with itching.
Best wishes!

Molly had a very easy time with her spay. The hardest part was keeping her quiet for 7-10 days after. She was ready for action by the next morning. We used the cone at first then went to the onesie. We wish Ginger a speedy recovery!

Thakns all,
She did great and is doing great. Just a little tired as would be expected. The vet offered a pain shot that lasts for 48 hours and doesn't make them sleepy. Thought it would be beneficial. Seems to be. She doesn't seem to be aware of her incision at all. The vet didn't feel she would need a collar or a onesie, so far he was correct. Stitches come out in two weeks. Whew, glad this is over.
