Thumbs up Hardwood Floors. Have to share!

Some of this info is copied and pasted from the Swiffer web site. There is a video, at bottom of post, on how it works.

I am a gadget person, if it promises to make your life easier, more than likely I have it. Two weeks ago I purchased the Swiffer, SweeperVac and love it so much I want to share!!!! My main floor is hardwood, and ever since the boys have arrived, it has been very hard to keep clean. I purchase the Swiffer Sweeper and cannot say enough good things about it. (Copied >) In one powerful step, Swiffer SweeperVac gets it all-big and small-in any room of your home. It uses the Swiffer Dry Cloth to trap and lock dirt, dust, and pet hair, and then uses a vacuum to pick up the big stuff. Lightweight and compact, SweeperVac works around furniture and appliances with ease, giving you a better clean than a broom and dustpan. It is motorized and you recharge it with any electrical outlet, no batteries! Swiffer SweeperVac does not require any vacuum bags. The canister can be removed with the push of a button to easily dispose of dirt, dust and larger particles, it is like the Dust Busters that was out years ago.

It is like dusting your floors & vacuuming at the same time. I love it, totally amazed at the volume of dog hair in the canister, esp. since I washed and polished the floors the day before. This is a video of it! You will not be sorry if you get one and a 10-dollar coupon is on their web site! I got mine, a starter kit, at Wal-Mart for under $30.00.

Colleen,

I have Purgo flooring in our family room and kitchen and the Swiffer is great not only for those areas, but also a quick vacuum of the bathroom fand front entry floors..

As a matter of fact we have taken our Swiffer with us in the past when we have stayed at a friend's cabin that has all wood floors..it's a great time saver .
