Murphy's Saturday Night Adventure
DH and I were discussing our options for Saturday evening dinner plans. I suggested going to an old drive-in called Tropical Treat so we could take Murphy with us. I always feel sorry for him on Saturdays as I go out to breakfast and shopping with my children and grandsons and he has to stay home.
We decided that it would be a nice ride for Murphy and he would much rather do that then stay at home. Murphy jumped for joy when I asked him if he wanted to go bye bye. So with Murphy and leash in tow off we went. Murphy loves to ride in my car though when he goes to work with me he has to be in his car seat. So what a treat to get to sit on Mom's lap and see all the sights.
The drive was uneventful but when we got to the Trop it was so crowded their wasn't a spot to park. Okay so what was plan B? We had to eat in the car because we had Murphy so I said we could just go to a fast food, maybe Wendy's or Arby's when we saw a Sonic! Fortunately for us there was an open spot. We ordered burgers, onion rings, and a soda. The food arrived in short order and of course Murphy had his share of Mamma's burger, and I hate to admit this but a bit of onion ring as well. Then time for dessert. Two vanilla ice cream cones and a spoon. Hmmmmm, a spoon with an ice cream cone. Of course! Murphy needed his dessert too and what a better way to share Mamma's cone than to have a spoon of his own. He was so good and patiently waited for his bit of ice cream every few bites. DH commented on how well behaved Murphy was.
We then took a nice drive and stopped to let Murphy potty. He enjoyed the sights of the countryside and saw some new calfs. He decided that laying on Mom's shoulder was a great perch for him to see the world from.
When we got home Murphy played a game of RLH with Boo kitty then plopped down for the night. He was one tired puppy. What a great time we had!!!!
