where do the expensive combs go?

I was at the pet expo and realized that every year I buy a nice, expensive comb...and I never can find any of them? Where do they go? Do I leave them places or do they have secret hiding places like socks and change that find their way somewhere...

I also realized I have several collapsable dog water bowls, several leashes, and other things that have also disappeared. Am I the only one?

Could my dogs be hiding them? But why the good ones that don't pull the coat?

My daughter also wants to know why the dog stuff costs more than hers! Well, that is a good question!

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!

Two words-couch cushions.
Every time I'm missing the stinking $40 staggered tooth buttercomb-there it is.
Of course, the cheap greyhound comb from Petsmart is always around, go figure....

My hunch is that they go wherever it is that socks also disappear to. And typically the nicest, newest socks.

And, what is with the lone shoe I see on any given highway probably 10 times a year? Seriously, why are there shoes on the road?

Life's mysteries.

I've wondered if that is a "Michigan" thing. I mean, really, how the heck do you lose a SINGLE shoe on the expressway??

Shelly, maybe it IS a Michigan thing! I have been seeing shoes on the road as long as I can remember. I used to think, ok, teenagers riding with their feet out the window, goofing off, but that doesn't explain the ones on the shoulder in the dead of winter.

Maybe studying this phenomenon is where they should be putting our tax dollars....

Or a couch? How can you not notice a freakin' couch fell off your truck??? Is that just a GA thing?

The couch (LOL) I cannot explain but the shoes I have an idea. When the kids were small and I left the house with kids in tow, bags, pocket book, toys and a handful of other stuff. I usually put things on top of the roof while piling everything in the car...only to forgot what I put on the roof as I drive off. We have lost more shoes that way.

Also did it with a bag of brand-new underwear. Treated myself and when underwear shopping...never came home with the bag. Grrr.

If anyone wants to throw their grooming stuff away... I have the same CC brush I got when I got Isabelle! A few pins have falling out but it works great I did buy a new one this year and use the old one on dirty dogs. I am actually really good with my grooming stuff maybe since DH freaks out about how expensive a tiny comb can be I know I can't get away with multiples. And how many of you don't groom in the same location?
