My girl is stressed by her new groomer
My four year old adorable sweet girl is really getting stressed by her groomer. Her long time groomer from puppy hood retired last year, and one of her employees who is also a very good groomer is not doing my girl. Jazi is stressed as soon as she knows she is going to the groomers. She does not want to get out of the car. The groomer says she is OK as soon as we leave.
I called the original groomer yesterday and she said she noticed a beginning change in Jazi a month or two before she retired. Said she was not bad or anything but just showing signs of not liking the process. We have not noticed any signs of her being hurt or anything like that. However this last time, I did notice red marks on her belly from the shearing tool. My old groomer told me to be sure and let the current groomer know and ask her to use a longer blade.
It just bothers me that she is so unhappy because you all know how sweet these dogs are and I would be so upset if anyone hurt her.
If anyone has had an experience like this, or any advice I would love to hear from you. Thanks so much.
