Havanese breeder near Disney World??

No I don't want to purchase a dog. LOL.

But we're going to Disney World end of the month and then to Anna Maria for a week.

I was able to get a house at Anna Maria that allows dogs but the condo at WDW does not allow dogs.

We'd really like to bring him so we can have him for the week at Anna maria. Plus we'd miss each other too much for two weeks and my brother would only be able to watch him for 10 of the days as he's going out of town too.

So I've been looking into nice boarding facilities....if anyone lives near there they are BassPetMotel and Aunt Emily's Bed & Biscuit.

But I started thinking perhaps there's a breeder near there that would board him with her for the week?? I tried yuppy puppy but she only boards her dogs and doesn't live near WDW.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Doesn't Disney World have boarding facilities? I'm thinking that they do.

Trish, I think Kathie is right. I know that Disneyland in LA has daytime boarding kennels for people who want to visit the park but have pets to deal with. I would think Disney World would have the same.

My best friend lives in Orlando not to far from Disney. She boards her dog a lot and she's tried several places. I'll check with her and get back to you =)

I know she just tried this one as I helped her find it unknowingly when I was trying to help her locate Acana dog food.

We go to Anna Maria too! We're going this summer for a family reunion, it's beautiful there.

Sorry I can't help with the dog boarding though. 4 of my brothers live near there but none have dogs.

WDW does have boarding for sure.
My nephew lives on the island in a little weekend house my husband's parents owned. DH loved it there and spend every weekend there as a kid.
Have a great time!

I'm sorry I should have mentioned Disney World. I know it has kennels. I've looked into them BUT they're now owned by Best Friends. They switched ownership last year.

I was hoping for a breeder or recommendation. I don't really want him in a little crate all day you know?

Thanks.

Ok Trish,
This place looks good to me-check it out. I hear ya about not wanting to leave your baby in a kennel all day. It's near Disney too.

The only caveat I saw-bring your own food-they feed Science Diet-UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH.
Maybe while you're there (if you pick his place) you can educate them about decent kibble!!!

I think I saw that place on Animal Planet when they were doing a special on dog spa-type places. It looked great on TV if that's the one I saw.
