I truly, truly hate to be that person. And I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I just want to give you a warning that a friend gave to me and ended up being sort of true Because it's better if you're prepared: the dog is new to this environment and might be acting shy. Once she gets settled and comfortable, some new quirks will come out. Haha.
Kipper was THE best dog the first week. Then he got comfy and his true self came out. Now his true self is still great. I love that little furball. But the potty accidents and barking at other dogs appeared after the first week and were nowhere to be seen the first week. It's just like dating! Ha.
Anyway, good luck at the dentist. And hope you two get adjusted quickly!
