Hi Barb - I will certainly pray for your husband and you as well. I watched my dad go through two of them, and although they are scary, it is an amazing surgery that is just about flawless now. Is this your husband's first one? The recovery is so much faster than it used to be. The lifestyle change is usually harder . . . new diets and more exercise; maybe giving up smoking. My dad lived to be almost 86, and continued to eat bacon and eggs every morning after the dr's told him not to when he was in his 60's. I wouldn't recommend that though!

You and your husband will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Please remember to take care of yourself also and try to get some rest for yourself.
We'll be waiting to hear how he does.
