Talking The Doggy Jackpot!

Today I really feel as if I've hit the doggy jackpot!

Gabby is loving her doggy door and I would venture to guess she is mostly potty trained. I realize there will still be accidents, hopefully not many.

Vinny is in full coat and rarely has any matts anymore. I got a new conditioner and I think it is helping to restore his coat because it was breaking alot. He looks so regal, lol.

Lulu is also matting VERY little and is looking pretty in her new semi-puppy cut. She's actually not "turning inside out" when I comb/brush her.

They are ALL sleeping ALL night on our bed.

Good Grief, I hope I didn't just jinx myself!!

Good for you Carole, your house must be peaceful in spite of having 3 doggies running around! Sounds as though Miss Gabby has settled herself right in!

Congrats! What kind of dog door do you have?? The kind with the electronic sensor and the doodad on her collar?

I haven't introduced BJ to the dog door yet -- I've been leaving the front door to the courtyard ajar when I'm home. Abby uses the dog door as her escape route when they're playing in the courtyard and he gets too rambunctious for her. He can't figure out how she disappears!

Carole, that whole deer/car thing while on the vacation with your DD, DDIL and grandkid earned you lots of god Karma. Enjoy the Jackpot!

Carole- That is great things have came together so quickly Kathy is amazing with potty training the pups. I was shocked the night we brought Dasher home and he ran thru the doggy door to potty without even having been in the yard. It was a great adjustment and is how all puppies should be!

Jane, our doggy door is one that works on a little magnet. They have a tiny magnet on their collar and when they go to the door it automatically opens for them. The down side is that they always have to be wearing their magnet. BUT, I love that if some creature not wearing a magnet wants to come in, no way jose'.

Amanda, it's been funny with Gabby. We tried to train her to go to the big door before training her to the doggy door just because it seemed like a good thing for her to know. She liked indoors better! We finally figured out that she likes to potty in the side yard (where the doggy door goes) and not in the back yard where she plays. She will leave the back yard and go to the side yard to potty. To each their own, lol.

Elizabeth, the conditioner is Animal House Vita Riche, coat repair treatment. I'm embarrassed at how much it cost but it is concentrated 1/8. It was $35. and I got it from the Cherrybrook vendor at a dog show. Cherrybrook is online, plus you can get more info. www.animalhouse.com.
