Question WILD WOLF HAV?

Does your Hav howl?

Harry howls and its really bizarre, only at night in his crate...
Such a orimal thing and ya wouldn't think it out of a Hav, maybe a husky, etc, but a Hav?

Lol, Sophie used to do that! Before, I moved back in with my parents when I was visiting on my college break one morning I heard howling and barking that sounded more like a big dog. I seriously thought that they were hiding a big dog somewhere in the house as a possible gift. Wishful thinking! Noo, it was just Little Sophie making all that racket..

Lilly would. Guess where she sleeps now???

In her bed beside me or the foot of my daughters bed. I am weak.

I keep meaning to video Henry howling.

He does it when we are walking and the town siren goes off, he listens for a moments then gets right into it.

Sometimes he does it in the house. he'll go into another room and just start right in. Maybe it is just a instinctual thing and he needs to get it out of his system.

Our whole pack howls. First thing in the morning, after they have pottied, they run around the yard and look for any excuse to bark. Anything like a crow, one of the cats, a chicken, or anything that moves. It's sort of a contest to see who can spot the first thing that moves. As soon as one starts barking, they all run to that spot on the fence and bark for about 10 seconds and then it turns into a group howl. Paws up on the fence, noses straight up in the air. Pam calls it their morning singing. It's really pretty funny. We don't have any close neighbors. The nearest ones are several hundred yards away.

Now that is too funny. We have several beagles and hounds in the area. They all sing in evening and when the sirens go off. The girls can get a little howly but nothing like Harry or your pack Tom.

Blessings, Luna and the girls

Ozzy used to howl when he was a baby and I would leave him. Even when my husband was home he would howl at the door for me. He grew out of it and very very rarely does it now. The last time i heard it was a few months ago when I pulled into the garage and he was anxious to see me. Otherwise I hadn't heard it in a year probably.

We call it his snoopy howl because we think he sounds like snoopy when he does it. Really cute and really pathetic!

Since we are talking about our "kids" howling I will tell you'll about my Rommy man.

Back in Feb one morning our city was testing their tornado warning sirens and I hear a howl like a wolf howling at the noise. Since I have a Siberian Husky living behind me I just knew it was him. I got up to see him howl and low & behold standing on my back porch was my Rommy man with his head thrown back howling. I stood there and watched him become a tiny wolf knowing that was his long ago blood line. And you know what-he sounded pretty good. And at the time I know Shaman (my Rainbow Bridge dog) was enjoying Rommy howling-and just bet Shay was telling Rommy he still has a ways to go before he sounds like the real thing-but he is learning.
