I have a 5 month old puppy...so I have to take him out as much as every 30 minutes during his waking hours. Whenever I don't, I end up regretting it.

I let Kodi out when he asks. I don't really keep track of it. He definitely ALWAYS goes out before and after breakfast, and after supper.

Sheba goes out each time she rings her bells. She also goes out first thing in the morning, first thing after eating, and before bed.

Brie goes out after meals and before bed, and for the rest of the day it's every 3-4 hours. The bell training is something I'd love to be able to teach her!

Moji is just about three months old now, and since she's come home from the breeder's, I've been taking her out every 1.5 hours or so from 7 am until 9 pm ... She's a very high energy puppy and will stand on her hind legs and paw at the air if she sees anyone coming her way ...

Moji's got meal and potty times backwards, she eats at regularly scheduled intervals but when afterwards she's taken outside she refuses to go potty and prefers to wait until just before her next meal ...

Often she's so excited at meal times she eats very little and lets me know she really really wants to go out ... When she returns (not having done anything but race madly around the garden) she plunges her little face into the bowl ... Than about an hour before her next meal, she goes potty ...

So she's a little bit off ...
