Sleeping too Much?

I was just wondering how many hours does your Hav(esp.older ones) sleep in a day? Dreamer sleeps all night & could sleep most of the day if i let her. She is definately not a 5:00 a.m morning person(um,dog).
I can tell this heat really takes a toll on Tripp. We were out Saturday morning washing our cars for a couple hours in the shade. He slept the rest of the day which is unusual for him. But he is HATES the heat, just like me!! He cant wait to get inside now. He actually sleeps ON the a/c vent. I keep my house at 70 degrees in the summer! Anywhoo, all this sleep talk is making me zzzzzzzzzzzz

Duncan at 3 months can't stand the heat. When I want to take him in the backyard he kind of looks at me like do I have to???
When I carry him out he goes straight for the shade and plops down in the grass. He lounges around during the day since my daughters are still in school, but when they come home he's always into something but still would rather sleep in the kitchen on the cool tile.

Interesting - how old is Dreamer? I sometimes wish my guys would sleep more!!! They get up between 5-6am ready to go - potty, eat, play real hard - then go back to sleep I just wish they could add that second sleep onto the morning!! Logan has the worst time with the heat , due to his color, and the fact that his Mommy is cruel & hates to have him cut short!! But we will be going to the shore for 3 weeks in July and I am going to have to give in & have him cut!!

Mine sleep all night, about 8 hours. They get up about 6:30 or 7am, and go outside. When they come back in, they will either eat, or take a nap. Then they are up again for a few hours, and nap. Shelby will take longer naps I think because she is younger. Kodi will get up first and bark at her to wake her up. Then they might take another longer nap in the afternoon, from 2-4pm, which is great, because that's when my soaps are on.

Shelby doesn't like the heat either and will sleep more when she is hot.

My oldest is not even 4 years old yet, so maybe there is some hope for me. Lexi may not sleep that long, but she will not make a peep in her crate until we take her out. Lily will cry and whine, so hopefully as she gets older, she will sleep longer.
