Just a quick question aimed at those of you who have the fundle carrier. Do you have the small/standard size for up to 11lbs/5kg? Rather than the large for 11-18lbs.

These are difficult to get in the UK (hence I'm looking early before pup arrives) and rather pricey. But I don't want to make an expensive mistake.

Initially the sling would be used to socialise my puppy in the city. But I would like to be able to continue to use it into adulthood. Especially when on the underground/busy trains. I'm guessing this is the best sling type bag available?

I have the larger one for 11-18 lbs. Tess ranges from 11-13 pounds and loves it. It's her "safe" spot. She usually snuggles right down in it and just sticks her nose out every once in a while. Cody is 15-17 lbs and I've also been using it for him during his recovery from an injured leg. He doesn't fit all of the way in but he's comfortable with his shoulders/head out.

I also use it to carry stuff in (treats, bags, camera, etc.)when I'm taking the dogs out - even when they're not going to be in it!

I love it!!!

I got the fundle when Castro was about 5 months old. I originally ordered the large one, but it was way too big for Castro, and for me; I exchanged it for the regular size (up to 11lbs) and Castro (now 1 year old) still fits in there well, at 12 lbs. Castro loves his fundle - he jumps in it as soon as he sees me packing it with his stuff

it's great on a crowded train/bus - I can move the bag (Castro) from my side to my front (as a papoose) so that no one's shoulders hit him by accident. I know there are other sling bags out there, but I am sold on the fundle because it doesn't look like a "dog bag" - it looks like a sling, which just happens to have a dog in it.
