help finding NV raw in Long Island

Any one from the LI contingency feed the Natures Variety Raw Medallions? We will be vacationing in Jamesport for a week at the end of the month and would rather buy the boys frozen medallions there. I haven't found anything on-line other than in the Hampton's. Last year we brought it in a cooler and it had defrosted by time we got there. I know LI is Looooong so the chances of being near North Fork is unlikely...but I had to ask.

I can't help you with that but you could try dry ice in a styrofoam cooler. We've ordered steaks and that's how they come, still completely frozen!

There's a local store in my town that has it but that's way too far from the North Fork for you. I'll check it out and get back to you on it.

Missy, found a store listed on NV website. Mapquest says 18 mins from Jamesport (heading east) called Dog Town USA. Heading west, looks like there are a couple of stores about 20 mins away.

Hi Michele, I checked the NV site too. Dog Town does not carry the raw! just the NV kibble and canned. But you know the Hampton's are not that far... I am just surprised there is nothing in Riverside.

I checked out the K-9 training site as they listed it as a provider...but ummm, it is literally K-9 training, like in bomb sniffing dogs.

Missy, maybe you can email NV and ask. Who knows when their website was updated.

Or call the feed/pet store and ask them if they would be willing to order the frozen for you. Maybe, if you pay for it in advance they will be happy to do it. They do need a freezer though. Good luck

Missy, Your gonna have to call the stores to ask. they now sell NV at MANY stores in Toronto, and only a few of them are listed on the NV site.
