Moved in

I haven't been around much lately mostly because of this sucky move (SO many things have gone wrong, it's not even funny anymore - not that it ever was!) and because I don't have internet until July 1st - I recently found someone who doesn't have a password on their router and am stealing internet from a neighbor at the moment... I feel bad about it, but it's only for another day so not too bad no?

The move wasn't easy on the pups. Although they were happy being in the new place, they would be visibly upset when we'd leave and make an even BIGGER production when we'd arrive (hard to believe that was possible!) even after only an hour. But after a week they began to settle down. Hitchcock regressed, though, and started having accidents around the house so I started watching him more carefully and we haven't had an accident in 3 days now, so hopefully he's over that!

The day after we moved Maryam came over with Pablo and stayed for the day on her way to Germany (during her layover) she was so sweet and helped unpack some books for us and poor Pablo was attacked by my two dogs who thought he was fair game. He had fun, though, I hope! Here's a picture of sweet Pablo in mommy's arms:

Pablo looking regal:

And one of Maryam with the three pups:

I have been really bad and was neglecting grooming for the past week so I sat down and brushed both of them tonight. It didn't take as long as I was expecting but Hitch had these huge mats under his ears, poor pup. That's pretty much the only place he gets them, though!

Kubrick the day after the move:

I went a little overboard with Hitch pictures tonight, but can you blame me? I mean just look at that face... he was resting his head on my lap.

And one last one of my beautiful Kubrick boy:

Also, notice how much better I am at making top knots than I was in the beginning! I think Hitch was starting to develop a complex from the crappy topknots! Case in point:

They're much more even now, so not to worry!

Oh and before I forget, here's the view from our private roof deck (they LOVE going up there to play):

Wow...beautiful dogs and view. Glad you are all moved in Lina and starting to get settled, it must be confusing for the dogs at first. I wish I could take pics like you, are you a professional?

Maryam, you are beautiful and pablo is sweet.

Carolina, sorry to read your ordeal has continued, ugh. I love these pictures! Pablo had a good time and sure was partially causing your boys' 'attack' by marking their bed Your boys were just being protective of their new, gorgeous home and all in all they had fun playing rough. I didn't hear any complaints from Pablo It was a new and exciting situation for all of us. I really enjoyed spending the day with you, so it was well worth it for me Thanks again.

Thanks Angie!

Great pics as always, Carolina. Sorry to hear you had problems with the move, but I think that view is worth some of the grief anyway. The boys are gorgeous, and I'm glad to hear things are settling down.

I'd been wondering about you, Carolina. Worried you were having trouble with the move. Sorry to hear about that.

Gorgeous pictures of the pooches!! Hitch has really grown 'older', just a different look to him. His topknot is good! lol Kubrick's bear rug shot is perfect! How nice that you could get together with Maryam and Pablo (I'm assuing the hubster was there too?).

Now, that view...... omg, that view!! Amazing.

What an amazing view. Sorry the moving process was so difficult, I know how stressful that can be and can empathize. Sending hugs and hope the boys can do enough RLHs on the balcony to make them relaxed in the home.

What a gorgeous view, Carolina. I'm sorry that you had several bumps in the move. It must be a relief to be settling in finally. I think your reward is being able to have that roof deck and enjoy the sites from your home. Beautiful!

Give the boys my love. I hope you get a break where you can regroup.
