Off to the boarder

I've been so busy lately I've hardly made it out here in weeks. I can't wait to actually have the time to catch up.

Tomorrow morning I will be dropping Gryff at the boarders (a.k.a. summer camp). If I were a dog, I'd be totally psyched. It really looks like a great place and I feel very comfortable leaving him there. That said, I'm really sad to be leaving my dog for four days. Alec is going away to sleep over camp for five days starting tomorrow as well. It's going to be really weird to be without kid/dog.

I'll write when we get back from our trip with any details from the boarder. Luckily, my friend is picking Gryff up for me so we don't have to pay for an extra day. Gryff will be waiting for us when we get home.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......You will go out of your mind! It will be too quiet!

I did drop off Dexter last week for 3 hours to be boarded, so I could go to a meeting that never happened! I was so glad to see Dexter.

Chuck and I are going away for a few days as well - otherwise there would be no need to board Gryff. It's just that I will be without my boys and it makes me sad

Ivy- I feel your pain. I'm up this morning getting Lucy and Rico ready to spend the week at the sitter's house. We have a great woman that takes them when we go away, but Lucy still hates it the first day. It takes her awhile to warm up to the other dogs. Even though they are in separate areas, she can see and hear them. By about the third day she warms up and starts to play with the other little dogs.

Every night we think "I wonder what the furbabies are doing now?" Not a good thing to do. :-(
