Logans Big Day!!

I am sooo happy today. Logan is now 7 months old and we took him to his first "outing" with lots of people & dogs. We took him to a street fair where they have tons of crafts, food, people & other dogs. I was so proud of him - he walked perfectly on the least. Allowed kids & strangers to pet him, even gave them a few kisses here & there. Had no problem with the other dogs, in fact greeted a few. Lily & Lexi dont do well in environments like that - so I now have my shopping companion

Congratulation, it does make it a lot more enjoyable when they like people and are having a good time.

I feel like a little girl about this, cause my others have not done well in this environment. I was so excited!! It also is a nice feeling to have people oohing and ahhing over your baby. Lexi is a little more relaxed so I think we are going to take Logan and her together the next time, and see if she can feed off of him and do well as well. Not sure if we will EVER get Lily to go to a place like that.

Tripp is always labeled the 'unfriendly' one but he is the sweetest dog i hav ever known. I hope they get over this shyness Laurie. Time will tell.

Congrats Laurie and Logan,

I kind of know how you feel, this weekend is the first weekend I think Casper and the cat might be friends and there is hope! So I am all excited about that!

Laurie, that's great!! It is so much fun when our dogs are enjoying themselves, isn't it? I'm happy for you!

We took Ricky and Sammy on a longer walk Friday night, the whole family of 5. Once at the ice cream shop, we sat outside and all kinds of people were milling about. Ricky was pulling on his leash because he kept wanting to go to people and say 'hi'. We started talking with a couple we hadn't seen in a few years and the dogs just ended up lying down and resting the whole time. They were totally unfazed. Great feeling!

Hopefully, Lexi will realize that it isn't so bad out there after all.

Yay Laurie that is so great! It is such a nice feeling when our pups are really enjoying the outing and are not stressed by it. Its a journey, but when you get to that point, wow, it is the best feeling in the world
