VPI pet insurance?

I could get a good deal on VPI insurance through a group rate, so wanted to learn more about it.

Any VPI insurers out there? What benefits or complaints do you have with it? Are you satisfied with the services? Thanks.

We've been very satisfied with VPI. They paid promptly on surgery that MacGyver had with no questions.

We have used VPI for both of Mick and Sully. They offer different policies depending on what coverage you need. The cost is fairly reasonable. They cover emergencies, and wellcare. The first year with Mick's policy we recouped all of what we paid for the policy plus some. We had a couple of scares that were costly. They are easy to deal with. You can Fax or mail your itemized bills in and then they mail you a check. You can keep track of your policy on line. The customer service dept is also great. It is great to have if (hopefully never) you have an emergency. I would recommend it for sure. If it is a good deal through group rate go for it. Good luck

thanks for info

Thanks for info. I am only getting 5% discount on the superior plan which isn't so great. I've read the contract and they exclude congenital and hereditary conditions so that wouldn't work for me. I wish there was a Wellness care program that is independent of the accidental insurance coverage. I really could use it for the puppy phase.
