So proud of my little escape artist..lol

Todd somehow opened his outdoor ex-pen fence and decided to run loose in the yard this morning.
He was on his way down the hill and was heading toward the road with me running behind him calling to him.
He was doing his best to ignore me when I firmly said "WAIT"...he immediately dropped down onto his belly and just looked at me..lol
Thank goodness that he knows (and listens to) at least one command.
I admit that I've been slacking on his training over the past couple of months..I guess that this would be a good time to start back up..huh?

Good for him (and you). Mine would have kept running. I guess it's time for me too.

Glad it worked out so well.

It's so scary when they do that. Thank goodness he listened to you. He must have heard your tone and knew he better listen to you, or else.

Eva,

I'm glad he was okay. At least he stopped and listened to you (Marble would have took off like lightning). It must have given you a good scare though.

Good boy, Todd! Eva, you should be so proud of him for obeying you - that is wonderful!
Abby would have kept right on going.......lol

We keep talking about training but that's about as far as it gets!

So glad he listened. What a good boy that cutie Todd is. I love your new signature picture of Todd in the sand.

Run the other direction calling them in a happy voice and a lot of times the dog will run after you thinking you're playing. Thank goodness he's ok and listened!
