always hiding

lately, django is always looking for a new hiding place to sleep or rest. i found him in the closet yesterday on the small shelf under my husband hanging suits. he wedges himself behind the bathroom door when i am showering, he hides under the nightstand in the bedroom. he doesn't always lay down and sleep, sometimes he just sits there in his hiding place. what gives to this new behavior?

Does Django have a crate in a place where he can go to?
Sometimes pups need some time away from the family or household noises to be quiet or in a darkened area.

I just posted that Scooter is going under our bed to sleep at night. I wonder if Scooter and Django have been discussing this among themselves???

Lots of dogs find a dark place to hide. Smarty and Galen will go in the closet to hide/sleep. Smarty also gets behind my bed shams, you'll see just her nose or she will get behind the family room TV. That's her favorite spot when she sees me getting the grooming equipment or their towels and it is bath time. She knows I can’t reach her behind that TV.

Dani, who was 7 when we got her a year ago, will sleep in a corner, under the bed, and recently, she found the spot right next to the toilet. Bella, who will turn two in a couple of weeks, always slept in her bed but lately she's sleeping on the floor. Personally, the floor is wood or tile and I think it cools them down in our 100 plus temperatures. In winter they both snuggle in their beds.

Yesterday I had the bookshelf cabinet opened in our library and there was Bella checking our the bottom shelf. Havanese have such personalities. Sometimes they act like a canine cat!

On the other hand, years ago our Jack Russel would hide behind a chair in the corner when she was very sick with kidney cancer. There was an obvious difference between our two Havs sleeping in a corner and our sick Jack Russel doing the same.

I'm starting to feel better! Abby has been doing that since we got her at 8 mos. and I thought she was afraid of us. Maybe this is just normal for them. They seem to like their privacy.....lol I think part of it right now is just trying to find a cool spot, though, because Abby spends much more time on the tile now than she does in the winter - then she is under the coffee table on the carpet.

django has always had his little hiding spots to cozy up to and sleep but these are all new spots. he's never been a fan of the crate so he doesn't have one, i thought maybe he still doesn't feel well and wanted peace and quiet.

Has he had a recent checkup? Is his Addisons controlled? He is probably just fine but that kind of behavior can be a health concern. (I hate to say that)

Cooper has always slept in bed with us, ever since we got him. Now, at age 3.5, he's started sleeping in the closet under my low hanging dresses at night.
I don't have an explanation either.
