getting close on a puppy name

This one has been extra hard. She's Karen's Pixel's littermate Sister. At 15 weeks, she flies on and off the furniture. I don't think even Nike was airborne at that age. When Pam's chair is full, she sees there is nowhere to land, and she goes beside the arm and jumps her head and shoulders above the arm repeatedly. I think she's getting close to be able to grab the top of the chair arm. She does stop when we tell her to. She's super co-ordinated like Nike to go along with the springs, and has quite a brain too! Fearless too. Nike will try to reprimand her by baring her teeth sometimes, and the pup will go up to Nike and lick her teeth! Her Mom Tibi is the only one who can tell her anything......sometimes.

Registered name: Starborn's First in Flight

We looked all through lists of flying girls names, but Pam has been calling her "Birdie" lately. Not sure if it's going to stick or not.

You have a Nike, how about an Air Jordan. Jordan for short. Then there is Pegasus or Kanga the little baby kangaroo in literature.

Why not Amelia, Tom?

Pixel is flying too at this point. She conquered the couch last week, and now Kodi has no "safe zone". What a wild, crazy girl sometimes... But with a very nice off button MOST of the time. She HAS started tormenting her older brother this week... Hanging from his ears or lip and making him cry. He won't do anything BUT cry until I rescue him. So she gets peeled off and reminded to stop twice, and the third time she attacks, she goes "to jail" in her ex-pen for 5 minutes of cool down time. We're hoping that will get through to her... If not, it at least gives Kodi 5 minutes of peace!

Oh, I think Birdie is a cool name! Apparently, it was a popular name for girls back in the 1800s. It reportedly means "bright, famous, and of course, little bird". I like that it is so unique .

I'm torn between Birdie and Amelia, but those are my 2 favorites. Love those cute and tough little flying girls.

I vote for Birdie! It just rolls off your tongue.
(Poor Kodi! it's tough being the oldest sometimes.)

Birdie is a great name!!!
Kodi is just like Scout…When Truffles attacks he goes to the other side of the room. He has this look of save me please.

Fortunately, Pixel is smart. ONE day of our new policy (three strikes and you're out), and all I have to do is say, "Do you want to go to jail?" and she leaves him alone.
