Why must hubby make everything harder?

Buster was fine with his stainless steel water dish. Heck, Buster was happy drinking from this dish...UNTIL. My hubby decided that Buster needed a little ceramic water dish, so he bought one for him and put it in the corner of our living room. Now Buster will ONLY drink from that dish. And he'll only drink from that dish when it is in the corner of the living room. Not only that but he drinks from it constantly. I put ice in there to try and slow him down, but I'm still filling that darn tiny little dish up 3-4 times a day. Buster never drank this much water before. I've tried to make filling the dish up my husband's job, but he just "forgets" to do it, and I have to listen to Buster dig at the dish like it will magically sprout water. I hate that stupid water dish!!!! Wouldn't it be a shame if it had an "accident"

What a shame if that precious little bowl got broken when washing!!!! It really is funny how they have favorite drinking dishes. Every dog that has been here likes the little plastic bowl I put in my bathroom for night use. This bowl is emptied by them every day. Galen will run past the kitchen stainless steel water bowl to go to my bathroom for water. She will push it all over licking it totally dry. Not sure what this is about. Bathroom water must taste best.

That is so funny! I put some in the bedroom for Abby to drink during the night and it has become her favorite, too!

I have no idea why the living room is so exciting. Maybe it's because the dish is by the window and the ambiance of looking out while drinking is enticing? I'm thinking of accidently putting the dish in the freezer, but buster loves it so much I don't know if I could break his heart like that. I'm going to head out to Petco and see if I can find a bigger dish, maybe he'll like that one just as much.
