Looks like a great deal! Just be careful if you're buying it for a puppy that the bar spacing is close enough. I have three very similar ones from two different companies. Pixel can STILL, at 18 weeks, walk straight trough the space on either side of the swinging part. We had to modify the gates by attaching plexiglas sheets to keep her from escaping! For adult Havs they should be fine, though!

Definitely a great deal. We have this same gate and are using it in the wall space of a
37" doorway. Wicket has not been able to get through at all, even when we brought him home. If used in a wider area, the space between the side bars would get farther apart and a puppy could escape. The funny thing, Wicket likes to sleep behind the open gate and rest his chin on the door.

The place Pixel gets through is not at the outer edge, it's on the side of the swinging piece. Not sure how big Wicket is… from the photo he looks substantially larger than Pixel. The spacing on ours is 2 1/2", so it's not wide, and she can still get through. When we first got her, she could WALK right through. I never would have guessed that until I saw it with my own eyes.

Wow Karen, Pixel must be tiny! I think Wicket and Pixel are only a few days apart. How much does she weigh?

That picture of Wicket reminds me so much of my Bichon who used to sleep with her chin resting on the bars of our staircase.

She's about 6 1/2 lbs now. She was about 3 1/2 when we brought her home.

That 1/2" less might be enough now… not sure it would have kept her in at 9 weeks!

Popi has purchased a lot of stuff on "WOOT!" Very dependable and reliable. Stuff always arrives in a week or two. Shipping is a flat $5 whether one item or three. If you see something you like, buy it now because it won't be available tomorrow. You never know what you will find there. This is the first time for the pet gate and prolly never again.

I don't need a pet gate anymore, in fact I hate gates because they cramp mi style , but Popi says maybe he will buy one anyway and donate it to a Havagiveaway

besos, Ricky Ricardo
