IN APPRECIATIVE THANKS TO OUR BREEDERS!!

My love and sincere appreciation goes out to my breeders ! (Thx Jan!) And I think most of us feel the same... I have been off the forum for awhile...and have missed so much and my heart goes out to those who are going thru very hard and sad times and a happy heart to those who are experiencing successes and great times.

Went out of town for 10 days for my families memorial for my mother...had my puppy nanny staying here...but oh my, my babies missed their mom...seriously..

Since I have been back I have never experienced so much love EVER in my life...I feel like i have been licked non stop...had a welcome home that I will never forget and now I can't walk out of a room without having 4 cute eyes watching whereever I go..and I feel so loved..

I know the breed has the natural love but I know now after being with so many other dogs that mine and so many of ours on the forum are the result not only of our love but more importantly the foundation of their being begins with their fur moms and their first human parents..their breeders...

I thank you, the breeders who treasure these special dogs and for helping to develop the foundation for joy in my life and so many others and for giving your time and love to an amazing breed!

I am sorry about your mother.

I have to agree with you! We went out of town over the weekend and when I came back, you would have thought I was gone for months!

I am sorry to hear about your mother passing. Sympathy to you and your family.

I couldn't agree with you more. Kudos and Thanks to all the dedicated breeders for giving us these sweet, gentle, playful furballs.

Best, Poornima

Catherine, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. It's a transition hard for us to bear. Give your little ones an extra hug for me. We are so lucky to have the unbridled love that comes in these little fluffy packages.

Yes, Catherine, I am sorry to hear about your Mom, too. Take care.

What a wonderful post you've created! How thoughtful.

My breeder has been a wealth of knowledge and did the most amazing job of getting my puppy ready for whatever home he was going to be going to. He was exposed to a cat and a bird in his babyhood, as well as going in a crate for his trip home. He was with different dogs so he didn't get too bossy (ha!). She showed me tons of things about grooming and has kept in touch whenever I had a question (ie frequently). And, she gave me a book on Havanese and a calendar when I picked him up.

So, I agree! Havanese breeders, like the dogs themselves, are a breed apart!

Catherine, my condolences on the loss of your mother. I'm so sorry.

As for the breeders, I have to agree. I didn't get mine from one of the "good breeders" out there. But I still want to thank them for the wonderful pups I have. They were meant to be mine and even though I have learned so much more in the past 4 years, I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I want to thank all the breeders on the forum. They continue to breed for the best in the breed and educate all of us. They are always willing to answer questions and help newbies and "old-timers".

Thank you all so much for your support... My Mother died at Christmas but it took until now for the family to get together for her memorial..IT WAS WONDERFUL...my cousins wife is a minister (has 5 churches in the Catskills) but the most amazing was we had a 7 week old baby (another Matthew- My sons name) and my second cous baby to carry on the life cycle - we had a welcome to life service for him the next night - THE wonderful cycle of life...

FYI - I too have what we lovinly call our "junk yard baby" love him with every bone in our body but he has a few very very minor issues that Austin doesn't - BUT then again - each of my human kids have issues that the other doesn't!! That's what makes them all so special! I havn't posted pix in a long time - had a good one of Austin...here it is -

Catherine, I call them "my rescue dogs". But I think they rescued me, more than I rescued them.
